That's what I called being interestingly Manichean. I think he's identified a real split, between what Fonte calls trans-nationalism and more old fashioned national liberalism, though I'm not sure I go along with the 'anti-idea decadence', whatever that is supposed to be. I don't see decandence, I see a mountain of denial. I think Jonah Golberg's quip is closer to the mark, "they love peace. They just think peace is something you get by talking about it."
