9-11 did happen on Bush's watch and he ignored repeated warnings. It's not that it's his "fault" because it's the terrorists' fault, but he certainly should have been more on the ball before 9-11 and while the attacks were happening as well. Why the hell did he keep reading to those kids AFTER he was told about the first attack? Porky Pig was more important than thousands of Americans dying? Whatever the base, Bush does not deserve re-election. We simply cannot afford his incompetency, fiscal irresponsibility and dishonesty. After 3+ years he still comes off as a rank amateur with only his own fundraising and re-election in mind.
