I don't know of any modern day politician capable of communicating like RR, and I don't believe it matters.

No disrespect intended, but RR's death couldn't have happened at a better time for conservatives.

For the next week Democrats are going to hear his words and read his speeches....they will become very familiar with who he was and what he stood for. I don't know how anyone can come away from this with anything less than a full understanding of his love of America and its people, and his desire for its success. He WAS "The Great Communicator" after all, and is the ultimate leader of the modern conservative movement as well as a great American.

This is an opportunity for GWB, in his own way, to pick up the message where RR left off, and it will be quite difficult for dems to defend anything less or deflect from important issues by make a mockery of GWBs style or lack thereof.
