The top 50 percent of Americans with income paid 96% of the income taxes. And the lazy want more[.] Oh, Steve, come now - they're not all lazy. Many are industrious but incomprehensibly stupid. Others would perhaps like to work, but are physically weak, in bad health, or have decided that they're 'above' certain vocations that stand readily available to them. In any case, any of them who cash/deposit the government's checks are tacitly stating that they're prideless enough to accept that legions of bright, hardworking, and/or merely self-respecting strangers should foot the bill for their shortcomings. Shortcomings, that is, whether real or constructed. But they aren't parasites. No sir. ;-) LPS5
