Gore was not aware of the true reason the votes were rigged until too late. He was a very class act not to lodge a legal protest. If one had reviewed the Jeb Bush voter rolls and the 57,700 names he had scrubbed, one would have found thousands of Gore voters who were not allowed to vote. It was a low point in our democracy. Also, the GOP crassly used their military supporters to send in late votes after the fact to stuff the ballot box. Gore backed down from chalenging that as well. One thing is for sure, this will not be allowed to happen again.
