Hmmm, reading it again, it does seem more realistic [and Shakespearian] than I thought when first reading it.

You know my attitude to religious crank zealots, whether of Al Qaeda or ever-loving noocular-armed Christian types [they can burn 10 million alive, without even needing a stake, with one rocket from a submarine]. What's worse, they are waiting for Armageddon and really think it's a good idea. "Bring on the Rapture. Yeah Baby!!"

I recall King George II describing somebody [on an open microphone] as a "Major Leage arsehole" [though he would spell it differently from that] so the language is in keeping with that description.

Maybe he really is paranoid. Sure, he is "cured" of his drugs and booze, but the personality which induced him to go that way in the first place hasn't gone anywhere.

Roll on the election. Thank goodness for democracy.

It seems that Colin Powell should have been the President and Bush the vicious dog on the short leash [according to my theory of effective management] rather than the reverse.

Personally, I think it's time to give the Libertarians a go at running the show and see what real Freedom feels like.
