Spek,

Since your posts, I have looking at the Brazilian wireless providers (TSU, TND, etc.). They took a hit recently, which seemed to be mostly the drop of the Real vs. the $. Anyway, I find the businesses to be attractive from a valuation perspective but have little read on the currency issue. With your focus there, what's your view of the currency risk? Any new thoughts on the businesses?

Thanks.

OT: Fwiw Spekulatius, I started an exploratory position in AMGN.

I know you haven't been scared off from buying some of the pharmaceuticals; perhaps AMGN might hold some interest for you (and/or others).

Portfolio update - sold 1/2 of BDK
Sold 1/2 of my position in BDK on this very strong day. Profit taking for a stock near it's high. I might buy back if the stock retreats.

Portfolio update - sold FCS, bought TSM
I was attracted by FCS low P/S in initially but I am not sure that FCS will be able to improve the meager gross margins after looking at management presentations. I found what I believe is a better deal TSM, the biggest and best managed taiwanese semi foundries. Forward PE of 11 makes this stock appear cheap, assuming that the aggressive projections come true.
