what motivates people What motivates you? Is it your pride? Is it making yourself feel intelligent? this thread has a broad tolerance for speculation and opinion about philosophies, sciences, and so forth, but that certain things do not lend themselves to serious debate. How can you say you are broadly tolerant, then dismiss the ideas of millions as "not serious" enough for debate? So when you find me mocking ancient texts, it is not because I cannot appreciate that for primitive people in need of answers to daily fear Listen to yourself. The premise seems to be that since there were bad religious people, then all religion is bad forever. A great brain such as yours can surely see this logical fallacy.
