Yes, I was amazed. There are programs such as quicktime, real player and others that insist on adding themselves into start up even if you rarely use them.

As I said, there are many sites that have those acronyms explained and which ones are essentially. On my list, the newer ones are at the end so it's been relatively easy to uncheck the ones that I don't want.
