Would the "humblest man who ever lived" refer to himself as the "humblest man who ever lived?!"

The Zondervan NIV note says that line was likely added later by a scribe. It's Numbers 12, where Moses's leadership is questioned. God is angered and he strikes Miriam with leprosy for questioning Moses. Immediately, what does Moses do? Does he say, "Good, b*tch, you deserve it. That's what you get for messing with me?"

Nu 12:13 So Moses cried out to the Lord, "O God, please heal her."

No, he's not mad. He is thinking of her. His reaction is to love his enemy, to do unto another as he would have her do unto him. There is no hurt pride to be vindicated, for Moses is the most humble man in all of Egypt.

Best wishes.
