Esteban or anyone,

I've been thinking that I should get some software like Drive Image to back up my hard drive and I see that is what you use. The problem is that I don't understand some things. Where do I put the backup copy? My computer does have a CD burner but no DVD. I have a 40 gb hard drive and I am using only 10 gb but where do I back up all that data? I assume it would take lots of CD's to back that up. Do I have to get a separate external drive that connects into a USB port and backup onto that? If so what kind do I buy. I know nothing about external drives.

I assume the backup copy takes up as much memory as the original or does it get compressed?

Maybe someone could point me to a web page that would tell me some detail on how to back up my drive.

Thanks,
Dan
