I am confident Kerry will beat Bush, and that Bush will go down in history as one of our worst presidents. I believe in the boy who cried wolf fable, and Bush and Cheney have cried wolf far too many times. Their credibility is very limited and they may be facing the raw end of some very damaging investigations and revelations. All the naughty stuff they did while no one was looking after 9-11 is coming back to haunt them now. Also any improvement in the economy will be blotted out by the record-setting deficits.

Meanwhile, Kerry's economic and health care plans make a lot more sense. He will disprove the Bushie lies that he is in any way weak on defense, a flip-flopper (Bush should talk) or a big taxer. He will win over a great many moderate Republicans whom the Bushies have stabbed in the back and insulted too many times. In fact a top Bushie called his own party's moderates "a dying breed" recently. Yet in fact moderate republicans could swing the election.

If the election is close, Bush can only win by either cheating again or somehow beating Kerry in the debates. I can't wait for those debates. As William Weld found out, Kerry is a strong closer and as strong a debater as Abe Lincoln or JFK, the two former presidents he most resembles.
