Hal, I don't think that you could possibly support racial preference in jobs and education. Apparently you or your family has never met with reverse discrimination but many families have. What if you had a small child that was bussed across the city to a high crime area to go to school while there was a school within walking distance? What if you applied for a good job with the government or private sector only to learn it was given to a minority applicant with much less experience? What if you had a job within city government and the racial quota of employees was biased toward blacks and you were disqualified because the mayor was using blacks as a political tool to influence his re-election? Before you go taking sides on an issue ask yourself if you are being fair minded or influenced by religious prejudice. There are those who read this thread that can easily see any attempts to discredit a man based upon his beliefs. This is still America, you know. A man is not judged based upon his race, religious affiliation or politics. I don't hold out much hope for the anarchists on this thread but I still believe that kind of tit for tat is beneath a person of your character. James
