Clarke did not change his story. He merely took responsibility but said UNDER OATH that the initial orders came from the White House or State. Please be accurate and quit trying to cover up for Bush. Clarke may not have double-checked once he received the initial orders but that doesn't change anything. Somebody in the White House wanted those Saudis and Bin Laudens set free. Clarke would not have disobeyed direct orders from the White House Chief Of Staff Andrew Card because that means it comes from Bush himself.
