I was also thinking a majority probably don't pay off balances every month, but everyone I know (well enough to talk about finances with) do pay off their balances every month --

BTW -- I've been late a couple of times paying the balance with a card, not because I didn't have the money, just slow about getting in the mail -- and when the finance charge appeared, I've just called them and said look at my history here, that it was an oversight, and they've waived the finance charge.
