The "Bank Lady" also points out another limitation on the temporary "up to 10% discount on groceries" offer from Discover.

banklady.com

If you can find a participating grocer, the offer is limited to $1,500 worth of purchases. So you can "earn up to" $150 worth of "valuable offers" from certain grocers at specific locations by shopping at those grocers until July 1.

If the "valuable offers worth up to $150" doesn't appeal to you, you can always settle for a $15 cash rebate from Discover, just as you would have received from any other 1% cash-back charge card.
