Those who were there in 1968-1970 in Nam know exactly what Kerry is talking about. By then, that was the most gruesome, out of control, fruitless, bloody, savage and frankly un-American war we have ever fought.

Shame on you questioning a true war hero's patriotism. The most patriotic thing to do in 1972 was to try and end that war ASAP. Remember too what Bush-Cheney were doing in 1972, after both dodged the draft, Bush went AWOL, lied about it and got out early to go to Harvard. Kerry will make a great commander in chief. Much better than Bush.
