I'm an old trapper, so I know how to trap a skunk without getting sprayed: Skunks won't spray themselves and they can't spray without their feet on the ground. You put your trap on the end of a long pole. When the skunk gets caught, you pick up the other end and carry him over to the creek, where you dunk him for a suitable period. Then you pull him out and skin him, being careful not to cut into the scent gland at the root of his tail. I wonder if it would work with Kerry? I suppose we will find out in November.
