Senators get thousand of letters and emails per week and do not read them unless they are from known credible sources. Especially becuse of email senators simply do not have time to review most of their mail.

Furthermore, if this were something serious, the person should have gone straight to the FAA. Frankly, the whole thing smacks of nonsense. I could have written Bush a letter in early 2001 warning him of some terrorist attack. Anyone could have. And none of us expect the letter to ever be taken seriously. Again, Kerry is not the head of the FAA. And this story only seems to show up in rightwing attacks sites. It smells like a big fishy planted nothing to me. This would follow a rightwing propaganda pattern in terms of unfairly blowing a molehill into a mountain for political purposes.
