Actually, after Tom Hanks made Saving Private Ryan, he apologized for voting for Clinton.

He said he was sorry he voted for him.

Sure, boring films are boring films(and Sarandon has been in a number of them). Martin Sheen in West Wing makes political hay which happens to repell me from watching an otherwise probably well acted show. But so many stars are liberal AND act quite well in non-political roles, I just then don't care about their politics.
