Looking at the casualties by nation from WWI, what made us a world power then? For example, the French had 6.2 million killed and wounded, we had 364,000. Turkey had 4x more casualties than we did. Even in WWII where the French were overrun early on, they had 820,000 civilian and military deaths, the US had 295,000. The French supported us in the Revolution, Gulf War I, Afghanistan, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Haiti... They did not support us in Vietnam, but we didn't support them, and they don't support us now in Iraq. But we didn't support them and Britain in the Suez War, and I don't think we supported them in Algeria. So why are they being demonized by the RW here?
