That is as probable as all the other daily reasons given for why the markets react as they do. While the majority of the reported reasons are bs, some actually have merit. Yours I know was tongue in cheek. Too bad the reporters are serious.

No, instead they realized that Pres Reagan had started to campaign from the grave to re-elect GW Bush. Their concerns about a possible Kerry win were mollified and hence the market rally.
