After making that post Jewel I did some perusing of the thread. You are correct I am out of the loop in a big way. As for this being political debate it seems much more like cheer leading which is why I disappeared again.

This thread was founded because the crowd on Volt's porch didn't want to hear a lot about gold, and JW wanted to talk about gold, and it got a bit nasty. Scott posted political articles, not always related to the politics/ economics of gold. Soros decided to start another gold thread and changed the name of this to what it is. Even then, it managed to stay relatively sane (the only drivel was coming from JLA) until the last few months. Oh, hopefully,I haven't assassinated too many characters.
