I agree with you, JDN.

The way the Shia are pushing for 'majority rules Democracy', it looks like the country will have to split up... with the Kurds going off on their own, and the Shia and the Sunni left to fight over Baghdad --- exactly what Scowcroft and the first President Bush predicted.

(The fact that the Kurds are already asking us if we will commit troops to defend them from the Shia [backed by Iran] in an up-coming civil war is very telling....)
