I've held it for years. It's now called "Chase Freedom Platinum". It was "Chase Shell" card originally with 6% rebate on Shell gas only (and same 1% on everything else).

In your link I see that if you use it you don't have to pay $19 annual fee.

** No Annual Fee the first year the account is open. $19 Annual Fee thereafter, but the fee is waived if 9 purchases are made in the prior year.


For your friends that is a AAA card that gives 5% rebate on all gas purchases.
