Nancy Reagan does not consider that a "compromise". Sorry, but that won't cut the mustard. I heard Laura Bush interviewed on the radio today about it and she claimed there was some ethical reason for limiting stem cell research. That can only mean that she considers fetal tissue a "human being" or something. frankly, it's wacky and unrealistic. It is also not compassionate. her own father died of Alzheimers after all, but she won't reach out and try to help others. Nice lady but wrong on this issue.
