Subject: The Eagle

Rather profound!!!!!!

This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible)

Quran (9:11) -- "For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace. "

Note the verse number!

<<<Now we need to tell the other side to play fair. Think they will listen?>>>

Of course not. They are losers. They have enough problems of their own.

But, by the other side, I mean the crazies. They probably number in a few hundred thousands - at most. Relatively speaking - with 6 billion people, that's like looking for a needle in the hay stack. The crazies may not all be Islamic. Some could be Christian - some could be Asian. Some could be white. Some could be women and some could even be transgender.

The point is - not to cause collateral damage to innocent people. The point is not to demonize large groups of people and risk alienating them forever.

It's not okay for Cowboy coach Parcells to say with "due respect" (in Suprano style) that they run Jap plays (sneaky plays). First of all it is unceccsary to say it. Second, some people are offended. Third, some kids (young fans may not get the humor) and think ill of all Japanese people. That seems innocuous. It is not against the law for Parcells to say what he said - but it's not a smart thing to say.

We are a civilized society. We have a lot of unwritten rules that we adhere to. Not any of it may be against the law. But, by adhering to strict unwritten rules, that makes us better. That makes us more civilized. That is what makes defending us - worthwhile.

We first of all we have to teach our kids (including older kids like Parcells) how to behave. If we have time left over, we could try telling the other side what to do.
