Second century Mithra-ism ripped off Christianity not the reverse

Not that its really important , and you will not be moved in any case....but the birthday of the Christian " Christ", dec 25th ,
was taken from Mithra by the 3rd century Christians, it was introduced into Rome and became largely followed in 100ad , but went much farther back than this to the Persian Zoroastrian roots, which emphasized "Good & Evil" ...."Lord of Light" and "Prince of Darkness",a "Celestial Heaven" , and an "Infernal Hell"....
and a "Day of Judgement" and "Redemption"...and "The Resurrection".

But don't let those similarities disturb you.

PS: Don't find falt with your own joyous religion's ability to adapt and survive ....rejoice at the cleverness of God's grace working throughout it !
