It appears to me that George Jr. has no redeeming virtues. That sounds excessive, but I can't punch holes in it.
I said a while back I thought Cheney would not be the next VP candidate. It was pure logic. He just can't stand up another 4 years of introspection.
Some speak of Rudy taking his place. I think Rudy knows he would be joining a losing proposition, and expend his future win in other races.
I say again if McCain were running I may go with him.
He will not be on either ticket. He will remain a powerful Senator IMO. Plus for the third time HE CAN NOT RUN AS VP for legal reasons.
I even think, deep down, that Bush wants out to some extent.
