Carter was the worst economic president of our time.
Pretty misguided on foreign policy as well.

Plus...I'll never forgive him for pulling us out of the 1980 Olympics and using athletes as political pawns.

Yes, and if you go back to the Reagan era, its very easy to make the case that the GOP is the source of most of our problems.

You're certifiable. Reagan inherited the worst economy in my lifetime (remember the "misery index"???). Reagan inherited a dilapidated military that couldn't even put together a rescue of our hostages (you may remember that Ross Perot was able to rescue his employees with a team of a half dozen guys). And the Left's greatest concern, since before Carter was elected, was nuclear proliferation -- which got worse under Carter and was eliminated under Reagan.

Only a total idiot would make the remark you made, regardless of ideology.

It was Reagan/Bush who supported Saddam and first antagonized relations in the ME. Beirut, Iraq, Iran.......God knows what else their fingers were in.......or did you think all our troubles in the ME started two months prior 9/11. It was Reagan who planted the seeds of our current troubles. It was Mr. Reagan who apparently thought he was above the law. It was Mr. Reagan whose activities were subject to a number of congressional hearings and who got his hands slapped on at least two occasions.

You and the neocons may think the laws are not meant for you but I respectively disagree.

So don't give me this rap that Mr. Reagan was a God among men. I ain't buying it.
