Hope the National Debt Clock will have a sobering influence on folks (like Bush and his ardent admirers) who believe that printing of massive amounts of paper cash will eventually help the US solve its economic problems.

BTW, I now see that Bush has been trying to imitate "Rambo" Reagan since after 9/11 when he announced to the world with something like, "You are with us or against us. There is no middle way ......." No doubt, Bush hopes to be as popular as Reagan was.

Another copycat act was tax cuts and increasing the cash flow big time. What Bush seems to be missing is that times are now vastly different.
