The important point of the article.

Though the poll showed that voters may favor Kerry, it also showed that they lack knowledge about him and are less sure about his stance on issues.

More than one-third in the national survey said they don't know enough about Kerry to decide whether he would make a better president than Bush. Twice as many voters said Kerry is more likely to flip-flop on issues than Bush.

In June,Kerry up 44% to 42%, with 11% undecided
In May, Kerry was up 47% to 42%, with 8% undecided

Bush approval: 46% in June versus 42% in May
Bush disapproval: 54% in June versus 58% in May

Half (8%) of the May approval/disapproval gap disappears

Direction of country?
Wrong direction: 50% in June versus 54% in May
Right direction: 44% in June versus 40% in May


Irag worth it?
Yes: 56% in June versus 47% in May
No: 43% in June versus 40% in May

On the negative side, moderates currently prefer Kerry by a 58% to 24% margin
