" Reagan got lucky with Russia.."..

No..he was in the right place at the right time and his advisors were aware of the situation. He handled it properly.

The global community had ostracized Russia, with many a country standing firm , not to mention Poland under WV,who was an inspiration to all who wished to defy the USSR.

Few wish to take away the glory , but many will clarify and educate those who thought the simple words " Mr. G...tear down this wall " was the beginning of the end to the USSR.

Do educate yourself dear.

It's good for the karma.

Liberals are living in a dream world. I'm still annoyed with them for choosing such a lame candidate. They had quality individuals like Edwards & Lieberman in the primary fight, instead they zeroed in on the loser. We could have had an interesting campaign season, rather than listening to the constant dronnnning of Kerry's voice.

Did you see Margaret Thatcher paying her respects in the capitol rotunda yesterday? She's in failing health, but insisted on being there in person. It was very moving.
