Tech silliness.....this is something which IMO has vitrually no appeal at all and will prove to be a failure. How many people, on vacaton, or wherever, cannot remember where they were when they snapped their photos? You are going to forget where you were when you snapped the photo of a lifetime? Please! This reminds me of some of the silly internet ideas at the height of the net bubble.

You took the photo of a lifetime on your vacation last year. The setting was gorgeous, the colors brilliant. Now, if only you could remember where that beautiful spot was so you could visit it again.
The human memory is fallible, but technology can help. One way to remember that locale is to use a digital camera equipped with a global positioning system chip. Such GPS cameras are starting to come to market from Ricoh and others. Using satellite-based GPS, they can determine your exact location and stamp the location -- could be a name, or the latitude and longitude -- right onto that photo you're snapping.
