I don't know. CIA agents die all the time, we just don't hear about it very often. It's certainly not headlines everytime a CIA agent dies. It's just that since the guy from Bama was in Afghanstan at a time of war, it was publicized. I do think a few CIA agents have been killed in Iraq, I seem to remember hearing something from time to time during this prolonged war regarding their deaths.
