France at this time does not even list an official representative, which is a slap in the face to our country, per the "rules" of protocal...

While we need not start a cold war with France, we certainly can give them the cold shoulder should they ever need to be saved...again,...

US presidents rarely make a trip to funerals when heads, let alone ex heads - of other states die (I think they send their representatives).

The only exception perhaps being when the leaders of middle east die.

I wonder who attended Francois Mitterand's funeral ? Hope Bush Sr. did, afterall he was greatful for French support during his tenure.

My question is, what did President Reagan do to France, or is this a protest show against the US now?

It is best if Chirac return home without polluting the atmosphere at the Reagan funeral.
