Hi Bill,

From the ECRI today
businesscycle.com

An index designed to anticipate cyclical turning points in inflation increased slightly in May after a pronounced decline in April.

At the same time, a smoothed version of the annualized growth rate rose to 1.8% in May from 1.1% in the prior month.

The Weekly Economic Leading Index declined to 132.9 inticating a growth rate of 5.1% (reported as of June 4). In May it was running at 6.6%.

This data supports the idea that the Fed will raise rates gradually.
