Did Kerry give himself the Purple Hearts?
Was he in battle?
Was George W.?

What are you talking about? Why don't you complain
to the Vietnam era military in charge of giving him the medals at the time?

While you're at it, ask them why W didn't receive any?
Oh - he was flying around the US while Kerry was in Vietnam - guess you forgot that.

how John Kerry managed to earn three purple hearts without spending a single day in the hospital.

Purple Hearts cannot be "faked" unless the doctor and commanding officer are somehow in cahoots with the soldier. And why the hell would anyone do that? Kerry was wounded three times, so what? Deal with it. If one or two of the wounds were minor, big deal, bullets and schrapnel don't have brains. Kerry was just lucky. He was under enemy fire quite often. Killed 20+ enemy personally. Not a war hero to try and disparage. If you're jealous, fine, but ask Bush and Cheney why they avoided service altogether.
