I am completely ambivalent about the monica lewinsky thing. Other than he proved that he is a slimeball for trying to smear her when she did her best to remain loyal to him. As far as the things that you list....LOL! I am amazed that people don't understand that any economic influences can take years to trickle down to a notable effect. The boom we had in the 90s had more to do with Reagan than anyone else. Except maybe the excesses that lead to the bubble bursting, I would put that squarely at Clinton's feet. 9/11 was clearly in planning stages long before Bush took office. What happens in the first year of any presidency simply cannot be put at the feet of the current president. Claiming that Clinton made terrorism a priority is just laughable. I give Clinton a lot of credit for the economic crisis of the last couple of years. I think it would have happened regardless of who was the predident, but I think the severity is due to Clintons policies. I don't blame Clinton for the terrorism that was directed at the U.S., but there is no evidence that he did anything to alleviate the problem or make it a priority.
