Oh, I've thought it through. I think a leader who was targeted by another leader has a right to reply in kind. That's one of the main reasons we eliminated assassination as a "diplomatic" tool after the Kennedy assasination. Our leaders are much more vulnerable than foreign despots, so why give them an excuse? Bush I failed in his attempts to kill Saddam, Saddam failed in his attempts to kill Bush I, Clinton failed in his attempt to kill Saddam. It sounds like a bunch of children!
