R.E., IMO, the best thing to do when you encounter some ignorant, condescending, hot-bag-of-wind poster on any discussion board is to just put them on "ignore". If enough people on a thread do the same, the problem virtually solves itself. If some wish to keep reading that person's posts, fine, it's a free world. Personally, I can't be bothered reading annoying tripe, so I just hit the ignore any time I encounter someone who strikes me as particularly obnoxious. Works for me.

To provoke thoughtfulness in response of callous dogma. To provide an opportunity for reflection and nobleness of character in lieu of the vicious and astonishing conduct that has come to characterise extremist political behavior. To think of more reasons to justify my existence here and to manifest exemplary deportment.
