Its amazing how they treated J.W. Lindh. There is no excuse for his fighting with the Taliban but one look at him and you know the sucker is not a major player.



I think they were trying to set a precident for torturing Americans. Guantanamo is just a training ground. That's why they had 12 and 13 year olds there. Not because they would learn much, but they train the interrogators and most importantly, the "upper management" not to care anymore.
