The Reagan pre-funeral, funeral, and aftermath shouldn't be a partisian issue. The Left will try to make it one.

Karen, looks to me as if we are talking about different things. I simply thought the Bush people appear to be overhyping his relation to Reagan. A minor point.

As for partisanship and funerals, I have watched so little of the Reagan funeral and read so little about it, I have no serious idea about the coverage. The little I've seen has been hagiographic. But it is a funeral.

The country will, most likely, have a serious time during the next several months to discuss Reagan's legacy. All points of view will get a chance to be aired.
