I mean, I know we're all supposed to just listen to what W wants us to listen to, and ignore any contrary reporting, but that seems a bit too convenient for the incumbent.

I seem to recall that Clinton was making the same exhortations of the UN that Bush did..

The difference was that Bush was willing to enforce those UNSC resolutions, and Clinton wasn't.

I also recall that the majority of intelligence that Bush relied upon in describing Iraq's non-compliance with it disarmament obligations were originally developed and espoused by the Clinton administration.
