"I too would support the Kurds so long as the Kurds support a UNIFIED IRAQ." What if it was never meant to hang together? (Like Bush I and Scowcroft predicted). People should have a right to determine their own futures, and live in peace. What, are we going to pick one side in a civil war, and fight against the other sides? I think not! "I thought they had a constitution now that protects minorities." LOL! They've already said that the 'constitution' does not bind any future elected government (they will have to write ANOTHER CONSTITUTION, since this one was never ratified by the people).
