Bush is worse than Carter. Jimmy Carter didn't leave a 2 trillion dollar deficit, nor did he allow us to get attacked on his watch. He did allow some of our people to be held hostage in Iran. But now 135,000 Americans are held "hostage" in Iraq. Carter was also very good environmentally, starting a massive solar program which Reagan quickly dismantled when he took power. Bush runs as a serious christian, but Carter really is one. Carter inherited a deficit, Bush a surplus. Carter was held hostge of the oil industry. Bush let the oil industry gouge Americans.

The worst president since Jimmy Carter?

.......... Harsh words indeed?

Are you kidding? Reagan, Bush 1, and now Bush 2 have ALL been worse than Carter. These Republican clowns spend money on "defense" like it's a drug. The deficits and national debt climb like Mount Everest when they're in power. All in the name of stopping big government. The last I saw the Pentagon was a part of the government.

The new Republican credo: "Representation without taxation."
