Ann is a serious liar, very committed to the task, never apologizes even when caught red-handed. Either that or completely brainwashed. Neocon Bushies do have sort of a cult. They have to be half-mad at least. Of course th real definition of madness is simply believing in a reality which does not exist. Hence the lies. It's a vicious circle. Like a snake eating its own tail.
