The rebuttal was for this statement: DR told me that when we occupy a Muslim countries and torture their citizens it makes us safer from terrorism. As though our government set out to abuse (NOT torture) the individuals in the prison. And as though Americans having to choose to jump from 100th floor windows to avoid being vaporized isn't torture. You who would lay down while Mideastern Terrorists slaughter Americans do not deserve this country.

You start with false dogma as the basis of your thesis, then extrapolate every exaggerated conclusion within the limits of your imagination. A slight cut in the increase in military spending becomes "gutting" the military which becomes a weak America which becomes the reason for 9/11 which becomes... Then if confronted with facts that don't fit the dogma... out comes the un-American, un-patriotic crap. It's like listening to the same bad song over and over and over...
