In case you didn't know, troops were stationed in Japan because that country was Hitler's ally during WWII and therefore occupational troops were necessary once the Japanese were defeated. You seem to be looking at History in reverse order. You need to catch up on the aftermath of WWII, reason U.S. troops were necessary in Korea, the Cold War and USSR's goal of world domination.
It will all become perfectly clear, once you've studied world events going back at least as far as WWI.

Seems to me if we brought all the troops home from all over the world, those military dollars could be pumped into other non-defense parts of the Government especially Federal Law Enforcement agencies. Now just imagine the Department of Justice with 400 Billion dollars a year to spend on law enforcement. Then instead of the U.S. Government cracking skulls abroad, they will have enough money to break every single one of our constitutional rights and crack our skulls instead. Maybe they would even have enough money left over to vilify, detain, plant evidence, and destroy everybody that refuses to bow down and worship our central Government.
