the fact that the FED is mixing politics and monetary policy is obvious. IMHO they realized the mistake they made with holding the 1% fed rate and now they run for cover. IMHO the FED did not read the global picture - e.g outsourcing and it's effects on the economy and the rise in commodity prices due to economic prosperity in Asia. Easy money did not generate more good paying jobs as expects it only channeled those funds to inflame speculation and as a result basic needs inflation. The FED erred BIG time and hope that they will smart up in the Senate and NOT confirm AG it is about time he should retire
